Poem: There are Other Rooms

The news is constant we can’t escape
Daily, dire, dangerous, deadly
Stay at home but stay tuned
Global in nature but so close too soon
Introverts and extroverts
No handshakes or hugs
Six feet apart distance experts say
Still questions arise
How long will this last
How do homeless stay home
The Church is alive
A Gospel to share
And God spoke to me
There are other rooms
So we walk away from worry
Into a different room
Peace awaits us in a place close by
I am thinking of you as I sit
In our Prayer Room
