Tear Down This Wall!

June 12, 1987

The great American poet, Robert Frost, wrote a poem titled Mending Wall that begins:

"Something there is that doesn't love a wall."

Later in the poem, after hearing a neighbor suggest that:
"Good fences make good neighbors"

Frost continues:
"Before I built a wall I'd ask to know
What I was walling in or walling out,
And to whom I was like to give offense.
Something there is that doesn't love a wall...."

"I will build a great, great wall on our southern border,
and I will make Mexico pay for that wall."

Mr. Trump, "Tear down this wall!"
