Monday Mini-Sermon

Life is a balancing act. We attempt to balance who we are and what we might yet become. We seek to find the delicate balance between our will and God's will for us. We struggle to keep our relationships with each other and with God in proper balance. There is God's love and there is our love, there is God's forgiveness and our own attempts to forgive, there is sin and there is reconciliation. Life is a balancing act.

The key to balancing is perspective. Once we could see only from a human perspective, but now? Perhaps we are gradually gaining a new perspective as followers of Jesus Christ. We are able to see beyond our own selfish point of view, coming closer to see ourselves, our neighbors, our world as God might see them.

Is your perspective still fuzzy, or is it becoming a little clearer?
