Monday Mini-Sermon

The story is related that once Henry Ford asked a young man what his goals in life were. The young man, without pausing to think, informed Ford his goal was to make a million dollars.
Henry Ford considered what the young man had said. He made arrangements for a gift to be presented to the man. A few days later he called the young man in and presented him with a pair of eyeglasses. But on these glasses where the lens would normally be Ford had arranged for the maker of the glasses to insert two silver dollars.
“Put them on,” insisted Ford.
The young man complied.
“What do you see?” asked Ford.
“I can’t see anything,” said the young man, “the dollars are in the way.”
Okay, I’ll stop there. You’re smart enough to figure the moral of the story without any help from me.
