Tampa Bay Rays

From Bruce Tomaso over at the Dallas Morning News blog:

Tampa Bay baseball team has exorcised its Demons

Hard to imagine that God is an American League fan, given the abominable evil that is the DH rule. But the Tampa Bay Rays, playing now for a shot at their first World Series ever, were the worst team in Major League Baseball until this year. Since their creation in 1998, the Rays had finished dead last in their division every year except one -- when they finished second-to-last.

What happened?

Well, last November, they officially changed their name.

They used to be the Devil Rays.

Once they threw off their Devil, good things started to happen.
