1937 Postcards Finally Arrive at Camp Mack

When Camp Mack staff worker Lana Kauffman went to the Milford Post Office to pick up the camp mail on Monday, postal worker Shawn Bohnstedt gave her quite a surprise — two post cards addressed to Betty Marie Shultz at Camp Mack, dated 1937.

Asked about details of the whereabouts of the cards, Mike Hawkins of the Milford Post Office said, “They just showed up in this morning’s (Monday’s) mail. We don’t know any more than that.”Camp staff mailed the post cards in an envelope to Betty. She was hoping to receive them by Thursday, her birthday.
