What the law really says about religion

Charles C. Haynes, senior scholar at the First Amendment Center, recently wrote a column about what the law really says about religion. read it here

In the article he points to a statement released this past week, drafted by a diverse group of religious-liberty advocates, educators and scholars, which represents the first-ever consensus on how the law addresses the role of religion in the public square in the United States.

He points out that this diverse group don't agree on what the law should be. But the group did reach agreement on what the law actually says.
